In a world that tries to divide us and tells how we are different how can we be united? I have found a few things with my relationship with my boyfriend. We are so different and from the outside I know others think how can we be together. We have different histories. Different cultures. Different stories. Different needs and wants. Even on the outside we are different. So what unites us and what does it teaches us on how to be united no matter our differences?
I have found that you can look at the differences or you can find the things that you have in similar. Christ helps us find the things in common with people. When the savior is in the center of our lives we find time to serve, to love others. When we serve others we learn to love the other person no matter what might divide us. We learn that even though at first we thought we had nothing in common we have more things in common than first thought. My humble plea is each of us reach out to others who we might not be getting along with with pray, love, and service. I promise as you do so you will find miracles in your life that you never imagined possible.
